The church is for God's mission in the world.

Our Mission

We are Christians loving and serving all in the name of Christ.

Jesus reminds us that as his followers, we have a two-fold mission. First, we are to love the Lord our God with our whole being. As the Bible reminds us, we do this most effectively through participation in the local church. As we worship together, pray together, and study God’s Word together, we nurture our relationship with our Lord.

Second, we are to love our neighbor as ourselves. This includes those within our church family, but goes beyond, reaching into our local community, our nation, and even the world. Through our various outreach ministries, we remember that our loving and serving others in the name of Christ knows no boundaries.

and let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

A purposeful path

  • Our Church is a People

  • We are called by God and empowered by the Holy Spirit to participate in missions.

  • We meet and worship together to proclaim our faith and seek God's path for us in this life.

  • We respond, serve, and minister to meet the needs of sick, aged, poor, and powerless.

  • We nurture the members of our congregation by sharing and teaching the Word of God.

  • We create a loving community, and encourage each other to seek God's Light and path for our own specific calling in the world.

  • We motivate members to support the ministry and keep the mission alive.
